Performance on AMD System
How is this running on AMD systems?

I have 5800 CPU and 7900XT, can someone with a similar spec tell about their performance and stability please?

I have the same CPU but an 4090. The game runs only on one cpu core so the performance is pretty bad. I haven't experienced any stability issues but i was playing only for 2h.

Damn, if performance is bad on 4090 that's pretty worrying. Might hold off until they fix it.

I posted a fix to allow all cores and to remove any stability issues. Surprised no one was smart enough to realize it though so it's pretty far down in the posts. But I also made a simple guide.

Performance is pretty lackluster in this otherwise nice game! On the first map I barely reach 50 fps, on the second there are no problems and on the third performance tanks (especially in the lower left corner of the map).

2080S, 9900K and 32GB RAM here. Yes, I am very much aware of the fact that my system is an "ancient relic" now; someone else has already very subtly pointed that out to me.

This doesnt fix the "i only want to use one cpu core" issue.

Hi, can you please write it here or link it? Thanks

The Captain is right in his response above. EmpVolo's "solution" does absolutely nothing to enable multi-core CPU usage. You can change process priority all day long and it's STILL going to utilize one CPU core.....which is baffling design.

lol so that was his fix?

I tried just to be sure, ofc it did nothing.

Anyone found an .ini to config or launch argument for cores yet?

Devs; got any hints for us
?

Still suffering from this single core issue - checking and bumping all the threads ive been in regarding it, in hopes devs finally acknowledge us.

Horrible performance, dont do stuff with the cores, just wait for a proper patch.
Its a modern game with all modern problems.
I am not sure if people noticed but playing singleplayer skirmish is abysmal, i get about 15 fps

a dev acknowledged they are aware of the single core use issue; really hoping its fixed soon

(this is not an AMD specific problem btw)

I'm running on a 5800X3D and a 3080 and I have zero problems, if that gives you decent perspective OP. No stuttering or other jankiness, smooth framerate without issue.

Thanks for the info.

5800x3d and 4070 here, I didn't have any performance issues until the very last mission. Then it was sub 30 fps. Baffling. A game in 2024 relies on a single core is is kind of embarrassing I'd say. I'm pretty sure this is the same engine as World in Conflict was way back when too.
