Black screen on start

Game is hanging with a black screen on start, any ideas?

Game seems to have a problem with 5120x1440

going into C:\Users\[USER]\Documents\My Games\Terminator Dark Fate
delete everything
Game fired up
Don't use 5120x1440

Just for me, is it hanging on the launcher, or when the game begins running.
Do you see the Title screen (before Main Menu, etc)?

same problem here. After slitherine screen and clicking play, game not start. Only a black screen.
First time i run game when buy, i changed resolution to 5120x1440 and then started problems. Any idea?

Interesting I'm running at 5120x1440 as well... where is the config file located? I couldn't find it in Documents

Yes after launcher, main game window appears- Terminator Dark Fate 1.00.930.
Tried windowed and full screen screen remains black, then hangs "wait for program to respond/close" etc....

Go to C users one drive documents, terminator dark fate, profiles and the archive with many numbers and letters

I have Onedrive disabled, I double checked there's nothing in the Onedrive folder
Don't see any new folder in Documents/Savegames/appdata etc..

I am similarly having this issue with a Windows 11, i9, 4090 setup. First time crashing after selecting my language. Not crashing immediately after start up. I am trying to use it on a 1440p monitor if that seems to be related at all. Looking forward to trying the game...

well not every solution will work for everyone. If its game related issue then you should ask the devs. Alternatively Join their discord server there you might find helpful people.

I have the same issue. After purchase the game started up but as soon as i changed the resolution to 5120x1440 is crashed and i have been stuck on a black screen. Whenever i click the mouse, a window pops ups telling me the game is not responding and do i want to wait.

maxed out settings, restarted and black screen. Did as Afghanicus said and deleted everything. Then booted it back up. Now works.

Developer needs to adress this.
