if you cant play as skynet then whats the point of makeing thisa rts. feels like the same crap as your starship troopers game make a whole game with just 1 faction and dont use the bugs
less of a rts more of a rouge like with more steps this feels

There is no Skynet here, but Legion. Skynet got retconned

Devs hinted on their discord that there'll probably be a dlc about "Legion" where you can play a campaign as them.
In a meantime you are able to play as "Legion" in skirmish mode.

You can play as the Machines in the release game. You can play them in Skirmish and multiplayer. There are also planned updates coming that will build on this too.
