Vehicle speed, fire rate, repair speed, etc don't help the unit when it has to dismount but if you expect your abrams crew to do anything dismounted, things are very weird.
Its always a good idea to have tank-certified techs around in case you need to cycle a crew because of casualties though.
I never cared for speed of vehicles, you never zip around you slowly creep anyway.
This is not correct- that perk only helps units that have to deploy to fire. (e.g. small/heavy turret platforms, m109 artillery, that kind of thing)
Tank drivers are by far the best - the 20% increased speed and fire rate combined with the engine boost mod makes a large difference in mobility for Abrams/Bradley. It also mitigates the speed debuff from heavier armor types.
Like i have no idea if engineers are a good idea for tanks, they come with ability to drive them but have 0 useful perks for them even if you level them up.
I only used them for when i didnt have crew to man the tanks...
Veterancy bonuses are hidden for units. They get more accurate and such with level ups.
