Seriously, you can abuse the heck of the c4 charge, blow the mortar hummers, blow the buildings at the gate house so your reinforcements dont get shredded, the way you can both hack the Integrattors bots in the arena, then steal the friggen Legion Tank by getting there during the scuffle with the cartel and the grators, then go on to hack to trophies too.
The guide really opened my eyes to how crazy detailed the mission is. Now if only someone could write one for Oklahoma city, because man I got SHREDDED in that mission.
I mean it consists of literally just having a freed prisoner guerilla team go around and plant obvious ticking bombs at people's feet. Then park the supply truck near the HQ. Hack the bots in the plaza and before the bots go fully hostile move the supply truck into the HQ. Quiet revolution mode starts, pick a fight with the dudes at the gate, set off the C4 and instantly kill them with your plasma guns and shotguns. All major threats are dead its just the waves of cartel infantry that come out of the exit gate as reinforcements who should get murdered by the plaza bots.
I put c4 and half the map even places where i know infantry run to engage. Needless to say by the time the final fight happen there was no one left and I had to fight the legion units I awoke because they couldnt find the last cartel members at the bottom of the map. I spent a good 5 mins clicking all the C4 on the map.
If you dont wanna do that, just bring artillery.
You want to stack 4 C4 for strong building, 3 for medium building and 2 for weak building to ensure total destruction. All the towers in the front gate and the prison area must be C4-ed if you want to minimize casualties.
however if you do know which buidilng to c4 you will just breeze pass it.
You can pre set everything but using the ammo trucks to constantly refill your guys C4 before the revolution, c4 literally every building on the map and the artillery hummers at their base in the south east. I also brought a 155mm gun carriage with my reinforcements, parked it at the trophy park with an ammo truck, and just slowly inched forward with my abrams, its twin plasma plus plasma machine gun let it lay down good fire, while my heavy artillery destroyed any buildings that still stood.
Yeah, that building is packed with dudes, but it's nothing a bit more firepower can't deal with.
Outside of the random ATGM that might be there your vehicles can outrange anyone inside if you come from the prison side, send some militia in the buildings next door to bait them into revealing them selves and pull the back once they do while everything you have just shells that building into the next dimension. Once the walls start going down it's all over.

In that case lower the difficulty and or learn how to urban fight.
There are enemy respawns but they're not much of a threat, just something to poke you once in a while.
Its very much a CRPG level inside an RTS and im all here for it. Use the guide for it only if you want to get the absolute best outcome. If not, use your brain. Think of how the game works, and the mechanics thus far, think of what youve heard during the mission.
For example, so many people dont realize, that after you become cartel, you can go past the train tracks, prior to starting the revolution. In fact there is a way to complete the mission, without starting a revolution at all.
Enemy reinforcements are not infinite. Unless there's scripts I don't know about (i.e kill Miguel to stop reinforcements).
