It can, and that was one justification I had for keeping it around, but so can Main Tractors and they cost half as much and can get upgrades and weapons. Including the ability to turn them into TOW platforms, which I find extremely funny.
I mean, the HEMTT is the same cost as a Main tractor and Fuel trailer combined, which is what it does, and can then tow heavy platforms on top of that, so it is still a + in many ways. That being said, there is usually a fuel trailer on the map somewhere anyway, so it's a toss up if it's worth keeping.
That was my exact logic for keeping it initially, but all the way up to Oklahoma I've never been in a situation where I haven't left the map with more fuel than I came in with. I'd still not risk entering a mission without any sort of fuel vehicle in case one of mine didn't have the gas to reach the exit, but the Cartel fuel trucks cost less than half the supps of either the Tractor+Trailer or HEMTT and I always keep a few spare Tractors to haul large loot anyway.
Yeah, that's the one I ended up giving him, I just thought he'd want *his* HEMTT back, lol.
