But i really dislike these new times where is not strange cant play all the sides present in a game, in 90s and earl 2000 games were a lot more sandbox and a lot less limited, for example Steel Panthers even comes with a WWIII campaign!!!
I think game has a great opportunity to have a Skynet campaign with very different missions, like massive assaults VS weaker enemy BUT with terrain being a great problem full of ambushes (i think in the Terminator 1 battle scenes) and opposite, few units VS a spam of human enemies.
But over this i prefer a real Skirmish mode that for me is the mode i use more a tactical wargame.
Ambientation... to be fair i prefer T1 and T2 (even T3 for combat in present) over dark fate, i dont like the stetic but well, at least is better than script (insert here barf emoticon
I really wait a more comercial title after SWF, like WWIII to have more options but well, i dont dislike this if is well done and offer more options for players in what play and how.
PD: i am curious about if game is going to include underground war fare.
However, an RTS where the main campaign doesn't allow you to be in command of the machines feels like a huge oversight. An RTS where you command AI, possible path-finding issues and all, seems like an obvious combination!
If they don't want to do it for narrative reasons, then just have it depicting machine assets which the human resistance have reprogrammed and released 'into the wild' as an anti-Legion faction (which you could choose to potentially 'go rogue' and begin to attack both, with the advantage of gathering more resources, but the disadvantage of meaning you're open to attack from two sides).
When conor levels up he getting more rough and agile with more gadgets,
Arnold bad boi from Term 1 in terminator team as "Hero of the team"
like in C&C Boris is in russian team and Tania in U.S Team and Yuri as in Faction Mind control.
Sort of inspiration could be great, and leveling up in ranks squads so u can recycle them meaning by keeping them alive and re-using them re-supplying them and not just 1 time use.
Make physics above all! IMPORTANT PHYSICS ABOVE ALL!
A machine wouldn't make sense to level up. Whatever abilities it has would exist right after being manufactured.
dark fate is ♥♥♥♥
I can say that with the additional content planned for 2024 and beyond, there will be many options to play as the Machines in campaign missions too...
