The Heusinkveld Pedals are currently listed as "Coming Soon" on our official website:
https://www.dakarthegame.com/
I pre-ordered the game, I was so disappointed because of the lack of support for racing gear.
From the launch you have been promosing the support will come soon but we are still waiting. 3 month already, I'm amazed it 's not a priority as we pre ordered the game and still can't play. Like I dont want to play with a gamepad when i invested in racing gear worth 1000e (and that s average not top end gear)
Btw if you think it s ok it s only playable with a gamepad first we don't care about what you think because you dont have a steering wheel though feel free to put your gamepad where you know. I guess that what you were looking for when you decided to write such a comment in a discussion about the promised support for usb pedals
@amendes Thanks for information.
Will this include also the the support of all other LC usb interface pedals?
I own other pedals with a Bodnar controller, so this would be necessary to separate the pedal settings from the wheel ones.
Thanks!
And I have not bought my rig for this game, a gamepad is more than enough for it, it's like the crew 2 in the desert.
if you dont care about pedal support what do you even post here? You are seeking for attention? Go play with your gamepad as it seems to give you such orgasms that you need people to know about it...
The Heusinkveld Pedals compatibility should arrive with Patch 1.7 in February.
It is also planned for that patch to include a Steering Wheel Device Wizard that will allow players to be able to setup many types of configurations for PC and easily test them, no matter the brand.
I did not see Heusinkveld Pedals mentioned in the 1.7 patch released today. And the main page still indicates that these pedals are "Coming soon." ( https://support.saber.games/hc/en-us/articles/9588376627601-Dakar-Desert-Rally-Steering-Wheels )
Do you have an update for those of us who are waiting to purchase the game, due to a lack of support?
Heusinkveld pedal user here also.
I have strangely been able to get my Clutch and GAS pedals to register in the Control Calibration process but not the Brake pedal.
The controls setup is harder than it really should be in this regard.
Rooting for ya Sabre. You have delivered improvements already for sure so here's wishing you can get this much needed 'broad controller support' in place.
What read to me as a single wheel developer brand focused support on launch may have been great for that steering wheel brand but it sure hasn't done much of your reputation as a developer sadly.
S!
Hi friend -- any change in your ability to register the Heusinkveld brake pedal? I'm holding off purchase until confirmed.
The Heusinkveld pedals should be able to work with our Steering Wheel Device Wizard if they support DirectInput.
We are still working on providing official support for these pedals in the game.
Thank you for your patience.
