Amazing Potential(Thoughts and Feedback)
So I've beaten this Demo about 6ish Times now just trying different stuff and honestly its super fun, I love the concept of a souls-like mech game, the combat is alright and the mechfeel is surprisingly good.

There isn't much enemy variety but they all have very distinct rules, Machine gunners keep you moving, Missiles can pin you down or punish with big damage, shotgunners force a quick victory or a regrouping to not chunk your health I LOVE it. Good enemy design keeps me coming back to a game always.
The near Infinite customization for your doll is great, especially with different outfit slots for everything.
Exploration is fantastic, sure its all gray and muddy but that only adds to the atmosphere! Theres nooks everywhere that hold an item and branching paths almost every 5 minutes and it keeps you guessing and going back to find that last item
ITS A VOICE ACTED GAME! HUZZAH!

Heres a few things I think the game could benefit from
Decreasing the energy it takes to sprint, not by a lot but enough so traveling doesn't feel like a chore
Decrease Rear weapon ammo/bp cost I love auto aim missiles they got me through a lot of armored core and I love them in this game too! I just cant justify it when 1 missile costs the same ammo as 2-3 magazines for my rifle. its so much lost damage
Allow use of rear cannons while moving, seriously making yourself a sitting duck for barely an upgrade to a standard rifle is kind of a pain in the ass
Allow the equipping of normal weapons outside bonfires, I understand needing a mechbay type loadout system for the frame and back weapons but the standard rifles pistols shotguns and snipers could be swapped on the go pretty easily I think

Personal Pet Peeves
Make the mech parts feel more different... I don't know how so Im sorry I am not offering up a solution here but, no matter what I did all my mechs felt the same just slightly different handling and hp, they all went 70-77 MPH, and even when purposefully nerfing my utility or range with the junk parts I didnt play the game all that differently(Editor's note This could be for a reason so you don't have to learn different Mech styles so feel free to ignore this)
Please add Ariel combat(like Armored Core for Answer) and I mean... if your mech is light enough can it hover in the same spot, furthering this can hover be TOGGLED instead of held?
This game has a huge emphasis on customization, Could we customize Booster color too?
If possible trading the rear weapons for extra boost strength(again like in ACFA) would do wonders for players to truly make the mech of their dreams

TLDR: This game is amazing, I just wish rear weapons worked differently and maybe add utility in place of rear weapons. Go play the demo now if you haven't and Wishlist this gem

Good post. I won't lie, regarding rear weapons, I kinda just wish they did more damage rather than cost less BP. The time it takes for some of the rear weapons to do damage seems unbalanced. The plasma engine trebuchet cannon baffles me how little you get out for how much set up and cost it takes.

For combat, AC4A mobility def way off the table. That game pace and mobility is not in line with this game. Hell, its mobility compared to other AC games is unmatched. The level design was also barren and massive in that game to compensate.

Ooo, More damage would also be a good compromise yeah, I hope they take this direction more actually, keep the high risk high reward playstyle

And yeah its a pipedream, but mostly in how it did ariel combat I believe is possible. Oh how I wish for a mech game to have as good ariel combat as ACFA again but yeah its porbably not happening

Yeah the rear weapons definitely need balancing. I just stopped bothering to equip any at all.

In the end I felt like the only weapons worth using were the sniper rifle, assault rifle, shotgun, and the melee weapons. Everything else doesn't do enough damage, or takes too long to do the damage.

Same here, I don't bother with rear weapons. I found to experiment with the normal weapons but always have the Scimitar in my 2nd slot as its probably the best all-rounder in the demo, but I enjoy snipers a lot for the range
