i'm having trouble gaining new skill points?

i've been killing somebots(?) and my skill points are stuck at ten, is that a me thing or

You can't gain them, I assume you only get them from killing bosses.

Either that or we gain the ability to level up later

I guess it's just a demo so that we can only get 10 skill point.
