Does reload tech also speed up melee weapon cooldown or no?

Increasing reload tech does not make melee weapons faster to reload. Reload tech only works on weapons that you load yourself. Melee weapons reload even when not in hand, so they are exempt.

Reload tech does not affect charge, cycle rate, firing delay or melee and back weapon reloads. And when it *does* work it only cuts reload by ~16% when fully maxed out.
In other words, waste of points. Same with ranged prof, purely decorative stat.
The reason melee isn't affected despite being primary weapon, is that it never actualy "reloads" - it cycles similar to something like bsad, fezmy or torivy.
