Favorite boss fight
I'll have to put the first boss on first place. Then second is last boss and the hammer girl.
For third place I'll place the Bridge boss.
These were actually fun to fight against.

(I was dissatisfied and disappointed at the great forest boss, mainly because it didn't seem to fit the arena).

Which bosses were your favorite?

I liked the stealthy sniper tank, since it fits with the general vibes of the Accumulation zone and the invisible spider spawners. Fun decoy boss fight.

The Mist fight was honestly a joke, didnt even really register as a boss fight to me. I went in with a sub optimal meme build based off of Wong Shao Lung with unupgraded frame parts and weapons and still managed to win, a bit of a letdown for a penultimate fight. Especially since the AI freaks out if you use the terrain at all.

The Aqland fight was far better, the mix of her boosting in blading with the long range missile/plasma fire made it fun and engaging, and was aided thanks to the simplicity of the arena. The phase two was alright, not the best but not eggregious.

If Colony Depot didnt bug out on me every time then it would be up there for a good swarm boss fight, but since the shields had the dreaded "Always Up" issues for me, it made the fight tedious, even with a glitch giving me a 95 round BSAD
Royal Guard, I guess, has cool design, it's a fun chaotic fight if you stay in the center, and the bosses HP aren't that squishy. If only the water particle didn't give me stutter every now and then...

Honorable mention, Forbidden Domain, Upturned Forest, and Depth boss, three bosses that somewhat gave me a challenge.

Not going to lie, I used the sniper canon on the Depth boss (I accidentally screwed my sleep schedule playing this game. Lol).

Game does have some iffy ballancing, especially around that sniper cannon. Did the Eye in with just the sniper cannon hoping in and out of cover, literally like... 5 shots to kill it

Is just too strong... It even made me switch the primary sniper rifle for something else.

i like the Colony Depot. its in Arboreal Nest iirc. The music is nice and its satisfying to use melee or any aoe guns since the respawning minions likes to huddle together.

The helicopter boss in Upturned for sure. I went there first and because of that it posed a good challenge. Couple that with the second best boss track in the game behind Colony Depot and it was a fight to remember, I'm still most fond of it on replays.

Really funny that the helicopter gets called "the Great Eye Above" and not the boss after it which is a giant floating eyeball.

Sniper Canon and Melee are absurd. Melee like DRK actually goes straight through the swarm bot shields in the arboreal nest.
My favorite was the royal guard corp. at the end of water treatment. Actually amazing boss fight. Otherwsie, Mimic Tank is a good boss. The bridge boss is interesting, but the enemies could use a buff. I think the forbidden zone boss is one of the best balanced. Could use some extra attacks for more pressure and variety to it's moveset. Most of the bosses need ways to apply more pressure. The Upturned Forest boss is decent.
For me I guess it'd go the Depths boss the Unidentified Frame Nymphs, I thought she was badass, had a cool intro, second phase, cool attack patterns, cool boss arena.

After that I'd say the Water Treatment boss Reim was really cool, 2 phase, awesome music and it genuinely made me feel sorry to put her down after seeing what that creature did to her.

Then in 3rd I'd say the fight with the armored Nymph Leki with the shield, loved their design, fight was cool, I just really wish they'd let us have their weapons would be so cool.

Honorable mentions:

Trio fight was really cool but they didn't go far enough I feel it was a cool idea and thematically cool but I wish they were more aggressive I liked how they each had their own tactics but I wish they'd combo you and punish you harder.

Helicopter was a good fight, took it on as my first area boss which was a nice long battle but I enjoyed it a lot.

Mimic tank was great tbh I really enjoyed that one a lot as it fit with the warfare going on in that climate/area

None of the bosses are bad just some hit better than the rest I feel.

I think the only objectivly bad boss fight is the stationary missile tank. It jumps, it shoots little missiles, it shoots big missile, and it shoots little machineguns if you get close. If I had to rate it, definetly D tier boss, not really interesting, not really hard, not really engaging. Plus its really easy to sneak shots in on the gaps of its armor plating, which supposedly come off but I've never seen them break ever.

The fallen hammer girl is the best girl. Boss I mean.

Yeah I agree it's deff D tier I actually broke off parts of the shield by accident in my fight with it gonna do a NG+ here soon and see if I can knock them all off to make the boss naked.

In fact, that automaton-like seahorse is also a nymph. The description of the NYL body type says that it sings to protect enemies, which matches the setting that it protects the knight Reim.
And in Alqand, there is a character associated with singing: Sheol.
Perhaps the two are sisters, and when their hometown was attacked by the knight Reim, they were incorporated into the system to become Alqand's symbol.

Managed to take 4 panels off before the boss died last time. Was using a melee weapon, I'll have to go back and see if I can do better with less damage or if that's as good as it gets.
