the Curious Door in the Forbidden Zone

Now there's a curiosity, what is with the one door found upon the wall in the Forbidden zone in the Lower Levels? Or is it I was supposed to use that huge thing to blow open a hole in the ledge right next to it? then if so... is there a way to crack that hole open without having to have that huge thing do it for ye? but yeah, how do I get in there?

Melee weapon didn't work for me (both thermal and physical, spent quite a while hitting that wall with both), but after shooting it with NostolGanz around 15 times it broke. So you might need explosive damage to break through it.

I'm also quite sure we don't need to worry about more breakable walls, because this wall is clearly meant to be broken by that big artillery robot that doesn't respawn, with manual way being just a fallback.

Where is this door located? Near the end and having a hard time remembering this spot.

Nvm, found it! If you take horizontal platform on the rail, face the wall and you should be able to spy a red door near the hole where the boss is.

For additional context, it’s by a bunch of ledges on the wall.
