Leather and Fishing

were do you get leather? i've killed every animal including a sabor and none of them drop anything to make leather and there is no option on the tanning rack to craft it.

also there is a task that says "Kill 5 fish" to unlock it but fishing doesn't count. i've tried hitting them with every weapon but nothing seems to be able to "kill" them.

and does the chicken coop do anything?

and a suggestion. we need more permanent light sources around camp like torches on poles or something. i'm tired of lighting fires and having stone ovens everywhere just so i can see my people at night lol. names above tribe member when you go up to them would be nice too, so i dont have to cycle threw people with the same model to fine the right one as the run away from me.

Do you mean hide? you have to take crude hide to a hide rack and turn it into hide.

They named the recipe wrong and are fixing it, it should say hide and not leather.

I believe you need a fishing pole in order to fish.

Nice suggestions for the light sources, I seem to recall in a previous version of the game you could assign tribe members to the campfire to keep it lit, but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore.

I agree that tribe members need names above them too so that we can find them faster.

i've tried using the fishing spear for the "kill 5 fish" task and it doesn't update it

It could be bugged then, but I haven't reached the point in the game yet where I can make the fishing pole so I can't say for sure if it is

I like the idea of light sources as well. Fishing is in the bad category (should be gathering)

Howdy, the leather recipe and fish task should be fixed now
