Already own VR

So I already own VR, but just want the PC edition to play with friends who don't have VR... anyone else run into this?

vr version and pc version already can play together, you don´t need the non vr version to play with your friends

The game is crossplay, so there is no need to buy a PC version, just to play with other pc players. They can join your game if they know the room code.

Oh they do get both. I think they just forgot.

But i also think they asking for a way to just have the PC version only without the bundle, because of likely of getting the game for a cheaper price then the default price.

There is already a few post of people complaining about why they not able to just buy one game without the bundle, because they want it cheaper.

But in all seriousness, there is no need to try and get one version only, when you get both for the price of one game. And it's cross-play, so you can still play with pc players.

the vr version was released along time before pc version existed, likely that when buying the vr version back then didnt give the pc version as it wasnt a thing at that time and possibly the devs never gave the pc version to those early vr purchasers at all after pc release and bundle option?. but as said vr version works with pc players and console players just need room code.

I've had Demeo since VR beta days and when PC version came out all existing owners were upgraded to the dual version auto-magically.

Short version:
* Game play is cross platform.
* Game play is cross interface.
* Progress is not cross platform.
* Ownership is not cross platform.
* All owners can play both VR and PC interface with a single purchase.
* You only need to buy the game twice if you wish to play on different platforms.

Interface: VR or PC
Platform: Steam, Meta, PS,...

You dont.
Its bound by Quest and Oculus, because you bought it on Quest.
The only way to play the PC version is to download the Oculus version you get included to it.
After installing Demeo on the Oculus app on PC, run the game in desktop mode by clicking on the three dots on the game, and select "Start in desktop mode"
You do not need to have a headset active to play it in desktop mode, nor do you need a cable for it.

You only get the Steam version if you bought it only on steam.

Nope. not the case. I bought it a long while before the PC version was even thought up, and still own both.

Nope. not the case. I bought it a long while before the PC version was even thought up, and still own both.

Ditto. I prefer the PC over the Index most of the time.
