2 player Co-Op Skirmish mode suggestion, 4 characters
As title says, if people enjoy playing as 2, allow us to play as 2 characters each?

It feels too difficult and way way way too long to clear a session without having a Fighter/Tank of any kind at all.

It just gets worse with more people. I did a solo 4 player skirmish and the enemies were near infinite and 10+ enemies per room.

Enemy health/attack is also increased and most of the skills the characters have are near useless.

They need to scale back how many enemies can be on the map or make sure that more than 1 type cannot spawn near a similar type. I entered a room and there were 2 goblin chiefs, a big slime, 3 summoners, a poison rat, 2 ice elementals, a big spider, a rat nest, spider nest and I just ALT+F4 the game. The spawn logic is broken as can be and they just don't give us the tools to deal with all that, no meaningful healing, no group shielding (i know there's a magic barrier skill) etc but you have to find it.

I've played Skirmish on all the campaigns, and it's too easy when you know exactly how to play and fight and do every move accordingly.

If you don't know who to attack or what enemies does then that's on you, you have to read what enemy does what.

There is a way / solution to play 2-player coop with 4 characters:

Use Parsec to play with each other.

Parsec is a well known app that lets you stream your game to others / friends.
You can also enable the option to let them control your mouse + keyboard.

That way you can play skirmish together and both persons can control 2 characters.
That is a very simple and easy way to play with friends while using all 4 characters.
Both persons can control the mouse + keyboard of the host PC.

There are detailed instructions on the internet (use Google) how to setup Parsec.
Do not worry. It takes only 3 steps. Very easy.

Parsec is similar to Steam Remote Play Together

Have fun !
Hey! Just want to let you know that your suggestion hasn't gone unnoticed! :)

Hello Ciwiel_Resolution,

I am happy that you read my post.
I always wondered why your game and team do not make use of Steam Remote Play Together for this game ?

Steam Remote Play Together fits perfectly to this game.
Believe me, you will have a great benefit from it.

As you do not need to code the "2 persons control 4 characters" into your gamecode.
When choosing skirmish mode, this can already be achieved with Steam Remote Play Together.

The lack of players to always fill up all 4 slots is easy to see, as this is still a niche game.
Especially the need for a solution for a better 2 persons / friends / familly members is much needed for this game. To control all 4 characters.

Thank you very much for listening.

Not everyone has the capability or speed to do remote play, and data has shown this to be the case too. It's like always-online, there are still people who don't have constant access to internet too.

2 player co-op with each controlling 2 characters is a definite need. I've played public games and the profanity is crazy. I want to enjoy playing with my son not listening to f bombs every turn.
Thanks for the suggestions on remote play, not doing remote play and 2 player co-op! We will of course keep all of them in mind going forward.
