Unable to finish "cookies" quest

I talked to Ruby and got the secret password for the little door in the tree but I can't actually say the password to gain entry - I can't finish this side quest.

Is there a bug, or am I missing something?

You’re missing something very easy to miss but also simple. You just need to press a button in front of the door 🙂

I have pressed the button prompt, and I'm asked if I know the password - no password, no entry. :/

I've done this before and after completing the mushroom cave quest thinking it maybe required a time lapse first, no luck.

I had a bit of trouble with this at first too! You have to cluck at the door after interacting with it, which is the F key for the default keyboard controls. ^^

I completely forgot that I could cluck!
I had no idea that I had to cluck at the door to verbalize the password.

I don't use this mechanic nearly enough (I know, it's a chicken game afterall).

I think it's because the other game mechanics lead you to believe that the action will be done for you, IE quest items are automatically given to those that want them without having to select from the inventory. So we think that the password will automatically be given too.

At least this thread means I can carry on my chickeny quest, thanks guys!
