password bug??

i got the password from Ruby and went to Hideout, so he just repeated saying no password no entry. am i missing something or is it a bug?

The dev responded that it wasn’t a bug to someone else before. Something about needing to use your abilities.

Yep, I was stuck on the same thing for a bit, but then it clicked.

It's really not very obvious, but a small hint - focus on how the dialog at the door is structured, in terms of game mechanics, and think about what abilities you have.

I'm stuck on this too. When the box 'password?' comes up I pressed F to cluck but nothing happened.

That's odd. I got through with a controller. Did you try with a controller too? Just making sure if it's a bug related to the keyboard.

Just to clarify, you need to cluck after clearing the first dialog from the door, when there is no dialog visible, and you can move.

I didn’t think of the timing. Yeah, it can be a bit confusing.
