stuck in the yarn closet

i'm stuck trying to unravel the yellow yarn but can't figure out how to open a ceiling door. can someone help me?

You should be able to pull the lever with the yarn thread if you go left enough. I think I'll need to adjust it just a little, because you're not the first person having issues with this. Thanks for pointing this out :)

I tweak the lever a little, so it should be easier to use now. You'll just need to update the game through Steam.

To make sure you have the latest version, please restart the steam client. To shutdown Steam, use 'Exit' option from the 'Steam' menu in the upper left corner of the client window.

Thank you for the quick response! The game looks amazing so far.
I updated everything but unfurtunetly I still can't seem to make the lever work :(

I also am having the same issue even with the latest update. It's the door that's above the save point close to the beginning of the area. The thread itself isn't attached to the door anymore but the next point up the right wall and nothing I do seems to get the door to open. Hopefully this can be fixed soon, besides a few other bugs that I had that were dealt with in the first patch this is a really fun game so far.

I too got stuck there, it seems the yarn is not connected to the lever anymore? https://steamcommunity.com/id/theguzguz/screenshot/2056510066779426312/ It vanished for a bit when I jumped up to that area, off the yarn balls

Edit: I managed to finish that area by simply leaving the untangled ball of yarn behind and talking to Taylor

So you found a bug that allowed you to overcome another bug, that's nice ^^ Will have to fix both though :)

I am also having this trouble, and steam says I have the current version of the game/no updates available. I didn't get this far before the first patch, so I'm not sure what it used to look like here but I see the lever, but I can't get the yarn to stick to it

If you could send me your save file to [e-mail], it could help me figure out why is this happening. I could also fix the save for you so you could finish the game without resetting :)

The save file is located in: C:\Users<win-user-name>\AppData\LocalLow\loonyware\Chicken Journey<steam-id>\game.sav . If you have problem getting from your user folder to AppData, which usually is hidden, here's a helpful gif: http://loonyware.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/app_data.gif.

It took me 2 days to discover how to solve that puzzle lol it shows even more how this game is incredible! I'd like to congratulate you guys, playing this game is a super fun adventure and the challenges added make it even more fun!
