What the game is even about
How things in the bible can be compared to the game?

There isn't much of a narrative in the game, but it can be somewhat inferred that you're a murderer by the end of the game (and perhaps in hell). That's why there are body parts scattered around the house and you are (literally, as seen in the mirror at the end) a bloody and deceitful person of the variety that Psalm 5 warns that God will destroy.

I thought it was a lot more like Suicide.
A man diced himself up with mirror shards.

He left a wife and 3 kids behind.

Then he is lost in purgatory forever. His family is not with him. He haunts his won self, in the memories of his home. Alone. With his own depressed nightmares.

Biblical; if one commits suicide they get locked up in internal purgatory. Which is not as awful as HELL; but still pretty bad.

And that is why outside is 'nothingness' like outer-space.
There is nothing outside of his house. Emptiness forever.

There are also some references that he could have also been a murderer. The rotting dismembered bodies. The scary custom and death mask (which he likely wore during his murders). The 'heads' hidden about. Gross.

A murderer that might have ended up cutting himself up into suicide.
