US game cover box : purple heart's outfit has been censored however the in-game 3D model stays the same as JPN version so it's acceptable.
Asuka and Homura pantie shot is possible on both version, you can see Homura running with her thong showing easily, so it's not censored.
all characters wear towel in bath scene even on the original JPN version -> censored during development.
no clothes break mini game, no wet clothes textures.
gameplay is worse than 4GO... the combat is extra clunky and isn't as smooth as 4GO, having 2s animation delay after using a skill is not funny, don't know why they did that, you can't even dash out of the delay lol, the mid game boss fights are just spamming normal attack until armor break then you can use 2 skills then repeat. Comparing this to SK games is indeed unfair.
There will be no bikini, the only DLC costume you get is the recolored version of the original outfit which is garbage, even 4GO had way more costumes than this. And Yuki doesn't even have a secondary outfit. This a really low effort game.
Giving less money to developers that release for multiple platforms will make them believe one platform has become less profitable and may consider less ports, or even just axing that platform as a whole.
If you want to see change, MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD. If it works for SJW's who could get the games *censored*, it can work for the average fan (that actually play the games) to get them *uncensored*.
And with the Yen in the gutter something tells me the west is going to force some extreme censorship onto Japan if they accept a bailout.
Don't care bought game anyway :P like personally the way i see if, it people want the most w/e version, go learn japanese, go buy a ps3 or ps4 and play the games that way, this version was never meant to be for you.
considering the sjws went as far as using United Nations to demand anime/manga censorship in Japan twice, i won't be surprised if that happen. These people are that obsessed with anime tiddies.
Like seriously, I love T&A as much as the next guy, but you want "booba" that bad, go to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
I can understand getting behind censorship when something is removed from the original and then people are given a lesser experience because of it. But here, it was not there to begin with, nor was it ever promised to you.
EXACTLY !
Sometimes all these "but muh boobs" is even worst than the sjw itself. Both sides are crap to be honest.
Dont get me wrong, i also like boobs and ass like every other normal man in the world, but this is the last thing i look for when playing a game, if its there, ok, if its not, whatever.
and imagine a spiderman game where he can't shoot web and swinging from building to building. Is that ok just because the dev never promise it lol?
I believe it's more along the lines that censorship may not have been needed here because the developers possibly avoided it purposefully to begin with due to fears of having their work censored or pushed off Sony's platform if included. This always results in more work for them, which is time and money down the drain, to cater to Sony when they make demands on the devs to edit, censor, or remove "problem" content.
This happened with one of the last few Senran Kagura games, where an entire risque segment of the game was torn out of the console version to please Sony. The devs save time and money if they just avoid it from the get-go. So don't be too surprised if future anime-styled or Japanese-developed games in general passing through Sony for their console skip out on extra content that would have been allowed on PC. They normally don't bother to make PC-only content, as well.
It's certainly a more subtle form of censorship if you can get everyone to censor themselves before they put it down on paper, so to speak. We've already been basically told that it's unlikely any future Senran Kagura game, if any in the future are released (who knows what happened to the one that was in development, likely a casualty of the above), will be of the same content and quality as previous series entries were.
Not buying is the best thing you can do.
