IFI didn't do anything, Ghostlight did. IFI hasn't released anything censored on PC (or Switch) as far as I know.
currently i'm waiting for the announcement of the PC/Switch exclusive DLC, maybe it will change something.
Alternate Costumes
The Alternate Costumes DLC unlocks a new cosmetic color scheme for the Ninja and Shinobi outfits.
The *Alternate Costumes DLC includes:

• White Heart's Ninja Garb (White)
• Green Heart's Ninja Garb (White)
• Asuka's Pre-Transformation Outfit

*The Alternate Costume on each character are accessible once the character is unlocked in the main story. Please note that the Alternate Costumes are purely cosmetic.

I really wish this crossover happened before Sony located their offices to California and went all crazy all-out-war against anime games....
I'll probably just get this game when its $10 or less, not at launch.
Which is odd, as steam allows full on porn in games on the platform. So why the need for a patch is my question always.
I think it is more a process you have to go through (see what happened with Succubus recently) that the devs have to go through and be willing to go through. Whereas it seems like many find it easier to just leave it be and put a patch only on there website.
i also remember 1 case where steam goes as far as banning the dev after he complained about the lack of transparancy.
