No breakable outfits, no cpu transformations, no shinobi transformations, no nepgear.
Don't get me wrong, I like the new outfits but i think the girls should still CHANGE into the outfits..If you would just stop making games for sony and focus on pc/switch you would be able to return to your roots and stop worrying about censorship policies. Why do you insist on shooting yourselves in the foot? I know for a fact being unable to release Senran Kagura 7EVEN hurt...all that production just thrown in the trash...I have all the Kagura Games I have all the Neptunia Games. This is another one ill get cause i am a mindless fanboy, but i am still very disappointed in this one in particular...Megadimention and Estival will still be the greatest game either series have ever produced. I hope one day you can reach your former glory. Your real fans are waiting.

If you keep tolerating corporate arrogance, you'll keep getting corporate arrogance. History has made that explicitly clear.

And you expect them to return to their former glory by supporting their neutered games and policies?

no, of course not, both of these series will eventually hit a point where no one, not even the "hardcore" fans will buy their products, Senran Kagura I believe have long since stopped producing new games, which is sad, but Neptunia is still trying to fight on and they are losing people too. It's going to hurt when Nep finally dies, not giving them ANY money just guarantees that this will happen. I am happy i get to see Neptune tossed into a situation where she gets to make fun of Noire some more, I'm interested in the two new girls joining the fray and I am elated to see Asuka doing more ninja things as a ninja. However, it's obvious i am grasping at the few straws that are still there. There are only a small number of things to still be happy to see and many more things to be disappointed in. Do you expect canceling their funding to be the solution, would you say it's better the series just dies? What fan would want death to a series they enjoyed so much? So yes, they can have some more of my money, ill disappointedly chew on the dregs that remain of these cherished games until i can't anymore because it's probably all i am going to get, and IF by some miracle they make enough money or get the funding to produce another mainstay in either series which includes all the characters and features loved from games past. Suffice to say, it would certainly make me happy.

I mean, didn't the Senran Kagura creator basically say through action that he'd rather have the series die? He left the company because it was no longer going to be Senran Kagura. To me, that says I'd rather the series be dead, or at very least it's dead to me.

I've actually kind of changed my mind on this one. I said in a previous topic that I was going to buy it, but I've decided not to at this point. I've actually never even played a Neptunia game before, so I'd be buying this purely for Senran Kagura, but if I want my SK fix then I'll just fire up Estival Versus which I always have installed on my PC.

If these companies stop releasing games on Playstation then I'll buy them, but I'm not going to buy watered down games that first released on Playstation. The way to do it would be release on PC and Switch first and then you release a censored version later on for the Sony platform.

That's the way to do it, that's the way they SHOULD do it. In all honesty, I will be getting this because its probably the Magnum Opus for both Senran Kagura and Neptunia the last thing they can crank out before both series finally flatline. Two niche game series with mostly female casts that focused on subjective humor with gratuitous fan service and arguably interesting stories. Both have already hit their peak and both of them are now at their lowest point. The neptunia have been slowly using less and less assets as possible and the last senran game I played was a pinball game and I am not even sure the pinball game counts... but i digress...I agree with you when it comes to how companies should do things, I also agree with your decision to not buy especially since it would only be for the Sen Kagura side.

I think you mean "Swan Song" here, the magnum opus of either series has already happened years ago.

i heard they plan to add a new (and free) DLC for PC release. Maybe this DLC are breakable costumes + the sisters (it sounds impossible i know, i'm sad too).

I would 100% support the game if they actually did that, but knowing IF that's VERY wishful thinking.

It's wrong regardless, as there was a new Neptunia game announced a month or so ago.

yeah, the last time they do something like this, they only uncensor the 3D models by replacing it with models from the prequels (the CGs are left censored & no additional features/costumes), I'm definitely asking too much lol.

I think your assuming sisters vs sisters is going to be good and better than this game as well as be released on pc. Only thing that game has currently going for it is looks at the moment. and STILL they are playing for team captain sony who is probably going to shoot them in the foot. Either way i can't even make a judgment on that game with so little info around it.

[Edit]
Lets also not forget that this is also only applying to Neptunia, Oh dearest cast of Senran Kagura...This game may still yet be the Swan Song for these girls.

The best thing you can do is not buy the game. Sony is a scummy company and they're destroying pretty well anything anime-related because of their ignorance and arrogance.
They have a stranglehold on Neptunia, so this franchise is as good as dead.

Maybe some devoted fans will mod in improvements that make the game better, but even then I would still suggest not paying for the game.

Can you explain why that is the "best" thing to do, i still don't follow this logic. What does not supporting the franchise on pc accomplish besides showing them that even pc players won't support them? Beside showing them that the time and effort to bring a game to pc is not worth the expense? This is NOT how you lash out against SONY. It doesn't make any sense to me, Not only is this game proof that someone wants to keep both Senran Kagura and Neptunia alive but also that it's viable to bring the games to pc. Yet there are people who preach that "don't buy it" mentality. What does that accomplish? How does that solve the problem? I just don't get it. I repeat, the only thing "not buying" games accomplishes is the assured death/cancel of a franchise and the reduction of games for pc. Change my mind. I'm not being sarcastic with that either, someone explain to me how not supporting this game helps Neptunia or Senran Kagura.

I get it if you hate what Neptunia has become and just want the series to die, but you can't tell me that's the best thing for it, you can't tell me its "as good as dead." It's still trying.

dev refused to ditch sony for switch like every other sane Japanese company already did.
It's on them and them alone.

Bandai Namco - still on ps4 - 5, Atlus - still on ps4 -5, Gust still developing for ps4 -5, Koei Tecmo - still developing for ps4 - 5, Nihon Falcom - still on ps4 - 5

Excuse me but what are you on about? Did i miss something? Sony is shooting everyone in the foot yet no one (that i know of) has ditched them?

[Edit]
Seriously.
