Hoverboard: Holding to use and jumping problem (Please help)
Hey, I'm not sure if anyone experiences this issue, too. But I would prefer to hold shift to ride my hoverboard but if I do that, I can't jump so I have to set it to toggle. Which, honestly, I'm not a big fan of... Does anyone know of ways to fix this?

Update, something weird I have found is that my keyboard won't detect me hitting space if I am already holding shift and W.

That sounds like a hardware issue. If your keyboard is old it might not have enough input channels to register you holding and pressing all those keys at the same time.
I don't think it's the case for any other key combination, because I can press any other key combination but that one.... although, it could quite possibly be just that....

This might be due to a common issue in rubber cap keyboards, where it can only recognize so many button presses in a specific region at the same time. A keyboard that can avoid this has what is called "n key roll-over", and can be tested for by holding both shift keys and typing the sentence "the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog", which uses every letter in the alphabet. This will show you how bad your keyboard is about dropping inputs.

If you're playing on a laptop, laptop keyboards are nearly always bad at this test. This test is completely negated by a good mechanical keyboard, which is one of the main reasons people recommend them for gaming.
