One thing that may help is there is an infinite slow motion option in game play settings. Its a different beast to Severed Steel but it does share some of that combat beauty. I hope you make peace with this game.
I've had good enough luck using the map to check for missed things, then homing in on that area with the radar.
Thankfully the devs added the choice. Super chill of them.
I am also happy that the devs have a lot of choice when it comes to accessibility. I don't think having infinite slowmo would "fix" the issue for me though. Best way I can think to explain it is that regular feels far too fast, and slowmo would feel both kind of "cheat"y and swing too hard in the other direction, of the action always being too slow. I think the default speed that the character goes at, or even the beginning of the hoverboard speed is where I'm comfortable at, but the game isn't balanced around this.
Not trying to invalidate your feelings, but this is hardly feedback.
it'd be cool if the slowmo speed was adjustable
(also, fancy meeting you here
I don't feel invalidated, though I appreciate including that caveat. Exploration wasn't a mechanic I was interested in, and it wasn't in Severed Steel. That said, I recognize I should have read the game's description before buying it lol. But yeah, if the speed feels good to those who are liking it, then it was the right decision, and I would agree, this unfortunately wouldn't be considered feedback.
Knowing the devs, they may include an adjustment in the future. I agree though, I think controlling the speed would be a nice feature.
