1. It is insane how hard to fish even low level fish.
2. How and where do you craft upgrades to the fishing rod?
3. Where do you get the receipe for cannery goods? or what you get with the cannery station is what you get? Because it is missing some canned items (like fox gelly and scorched beasts meats). And pay with higher cost to no longer have cnd bar is a useful thing,

I agree, the fishing mechanics are easier than a game like Sea of Thieves, but the fish move way too fast on the fishing meter and I am not quite sure about that dot that moves lightning speed from one end to another on the meter. What does it indicate? If that is the fish actually moving, then Bethesda is going to have to slow these things down.

You get the pieces to upgrade with by completing fishing challenges and daily quests for fishing. You modify your fishing rod at a weapons workbench.

As for the Cannery, I've heard about it but never seen it. I heard rumors they discontinued it, but rumors are fabricated so all I can tell you on this subject is that the graphics are still in the game files, but other than that I am just as clueless as you are.

1. Because if tutorial fish move this fast immagine how the rarest fish move even with the best fishing rod and bait.
2. I asked because I cannot see how to modify my fishing rod.
3. On the test server Ive got the cannery workbench for free. And Ive asked if there is the posibility to open new cannery receipes and if so how? Because lots of stat boosting meats are missing to be able to turn into canned goods. With the receipes that were already unlocked.

You mod the reel at a Weapons workbench.
You can't craft it but the options for the Mark 1 Reel for instance (the first one) are under "Reel"
IDK if you can craft better versions b/c this is labeled as a low/crappy one.
The "Grilled Fish" only helps with Fishing which lame.
It should do that but many players are Cooks and drop them at events and in Donation Boxes.
