Controller doesn't work

As the title says. The only thing that works with my controller is movement and I have to use the pad, not the stick to move *which is already bad* I'm not playing a sidescroller with mouse and keyboard.

Hey thanks for checking out the Demo and letting us know!
Some questions that might help us debug the issue:
* Can you specify which controller you are trying to use?
* What version of the game you are running (in the main menu bottom corner)?
* Are you using the controller wired / Bluetooth?

Edit: We have updated the demo with several improvements to the controls and controller detection, we hope that this problem is now resolved. If it persists, please let us know what controller you are using and in which configuration (Bluetooth / wired).

I am having a similar issue with the Demo My Logitech game pad F310 gives me movement only on the left stick no other buttons are recognized. I am running 0.0.25

I have the same issue. using the nintendo switch pro controller plugged in. btw day 1 buy died on my first run but dont wanna play more waiting for EA.

Same issue with a wired gamecube controller. Works well on other games like Rivals of Aether. Would love to try this demo, as a platform fighting game + rougelike is my wet dream.

Just finished playing with an Xbox wired controller and had no issues

i'm having issues with a xbox one (series s/x) controller. it's acting like stick drift but I've checked my controller on other games and on the gamepad tester website. no drift shown.

Edit: the game was trying to read my guitar hero controller. unplugged the adapter and it is fine now. weird but I got it to work
