Was there a plot point for all the hidden codes or (spoiler)?

Were they all just a way to sneak in developer comments?

I had the impression the red text would change the plot, so imagine my disappointment when I found the console and still got the "best" ending independent of how many red texts I've inputted and gotten the logs for. The plot and the dialog with Ririsu said that these would be vitally important for their plans, but I'm deeply disappointed that collecting them all doesn't seem to unlock a new ending, especially as I found the current one a bit unsatisfying since it seems to want to make players ask for an Erophone 3, just to get a satisfying conclusion to everything this game set-up.

Update: I learned from the latest update that there's more content coming. I wished there was much clearer communication that what was available was "Episode 1" with more updates to the story coming later. "Early Access" might have been better so players know not to expect a complete story right away, chunky as the content is.

Just finished the game, the story is a mess and yeah, this should be in early access. The game is much better than their previous game though, the art has improved significantly and this time, it is actually a real game instead of a live2d clicker.

I agree, the incredible intensity they've put into the plot, the art, the variety, and the writing really shows. The static 2D scenes show great motion and flow of action despite not being animated for time constraints, and there's a huge variety of cityscapes when they're put into detail.
