Is the positive review for real? Good game are nothing like this.

The real question is, will the player count reach zero when these same 197 players move over to the new Star wars outlaws game.

That game is going to sell gang busters too because the dev told
all the trump supporting incels to fck themselves because they didnt like
the new characters design. Bigots should move with the times, the age of
an attractive white protagonist is over!

The reviews are positive because only the family of the devs bought the game, everyone was warned about this game and so no one bought it

i will give them the benefit of the doubt, and say all positive reviews are people enjoying it and are their targeted modern audience.

its the time and money the devs had to spend and they are free to do whatever they want to.

massive layoff already annonced at this studio. the game is abysmal flop.
from 5-6 different YT channel. could be a 200 000 000$ loss....

I'm always skeptical of those talking head videos that repeat the same thing for 8 to 9 minutes and cover a Twitter screenshot and an Kotaku interview. But we will see. $200m seems quite a bit for a smaller studio and at most an AA title. Too bad for the developers who just want to make games and then get drug into politics and nonsense.

yeah we just want to have fun , but those studio want "THE MESSAGE" ! money is irrevelant to them.

Far too many devs forget the "fun" part. Games are now just a medium through which they spread "the message". No wonder 60 percent of gamers are playing games 6 years old or older.

Isnt this the truth.

I played through Skyrim long ago. I have since seen a brand new way to play it. Dontated to the modder, Novveus or something and here we go!

Same with Fallout 4 which I never finished, reinstall and mod it out. This one wasnt as great in my opinion as Skyrim but alas, I should finish it!

Then I got Frostprunk and Civ 6 waiting in the wings, though they arent super old, they are at least fun.

They can spread the message as they want. Just like everything else, they feel that because the gaming industry is now bigger than movies and music, that this is the next final frontier to conquer and take over. I would say this is the age of resistance, especially from folks like me, 40+, since I grew up with fun games and not microtransaction, predatory practices, DEI infested games. I am sure in the future of the majority of professionally offended generations
this becomes the new wave but for now its still going to be a bumpy transition for them.

I was really enjoying it until I found out the game blocks your progression unless you do the tasks in a certain order. There's no way back from it unless you start a whole new game. Gonna have to refund if they don't get that patch out.
