Need info about the game's narrative and its involvement with Sweet Baby Inc.
I heard Sweet Baby Inc. is involved with this game. To what capacity, I'm not sure but if someone can enlighten me on who they are and what they do, it would be much appreciated.

They are a company that basically black mails devs to work with them https://youtu.be/Iq86DnmX2xY?si=5MLlchFLpGXVjLp_

They then charge them millions and will change things in the game for DEI points at the cost of good story telling and gameplay

If devs don’t “fall in line” they will work to get the game canceled and black listed

SBI is a consultant company that is HIRED by gaming studios. They help with sensitivity writing, character design mainly but they also do other things. They can recommend changes to certain things in games but the ultimate decision belongs to the gaming studio that HIRED them. I looked through the credits and didn't see anything about SBI.

Random hate speech against white people for being the wrong skin color. No thank you, my money goes to non-racist developers.
I've been away from gaming for quite some time now so I wasn't sure what the whole thing was about this issue. But now after doing some research and from what you guys have said, it does check out. I played the demo of this game and tbh, it was pretty mid but I pre-ordered the game anyways. But after this debacle, yea...I just refunded the game. I also won't support this type of behavior and companies that knowingly hires and supports them. This sort of propaganda has no place in gaming nor should it ever. Thank you guys for your input on this.

It wasn't random hate speech. People of your ilk harassed them until you got a reaction that you wanted.

idk try out the demo and see if you like it. People in this thread are making claims but no real info so I wouldn't take their word for it. I love the vibes based arguments, not weird at all.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Damn man...so these people are basically gangsters and thugs whose aim is to blackmail and strong arm game developers and charging them money for their stupid "consultancy". Yea its a HARD pass for me.

However, with all the massive backlash of their gangster activities, and people literally voting with their wallets against anyone even remotely involved with these shysters, they are gonna fade into irrelevance. Money talks. Hogwarts Legacy and Suicide Squad are two examples of opposite spectrum. Hogwarts being a good example of how their woke agenda backfired and sold literally millions and Suicide Squad where well...that game sucked balls and was and still is one of the worst games ever.

Is SBI even confirmed to be involved with this game?
I didn't see anything in the demo's storyline, and I've not seen anything in the gameplay demos, or seen it mentioned in any reviews.
Just because a protagonist is a black female doesn't automatically leap to DEI ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
