There are Discords dedicated to brigading games that don't fit their narrative. It's cancel culture making the rounds.
Lol it's the definition of cancel culture bro. Brigading something because it doesn't fit with your view of how the world should be is flat out being just as bad as the "transformers" you hate.
Just because the behavior aligns with your personal beliefs doesn't suddenly exempt it from being cringe behavior.
I haven't seen that anywhere.
This is the Twitter thread and it's got nothing in there.

A good thing to point out is the opening sentence in his second tweet, though.
"Before I go further, please note this is rumor from a source that seems very knowledgeable about the studios inner workings. Take that as it is."
Here's the entire thread:

What lot? I don't agree with the proposed agenda you guys say SBI is involved in. I just research something before I decide I'm going to celebrate hundreds of people losing their jobs, all of the hate around this game falls back to a guy on Twitter that has spent the past 20 years dumping on developers, and has stolen from investors, spreading information that he admits is just a rumor.
I've played through the game, there's nothing forced or out of place, and it was a lot of fun. I actually haven't enjoyed the mechanics and well thought out gear in a third person action game this much since God of War. Even if SBI were involved it seems little or none of their input was put into the game, assuming SBI actually promote this total transition of content that people say they do.
AC is an UbiSoft game, if you're just now boycotting them because of a black Japanese folk hero you're really late to the party. They are doing way way way worse things to the gaming industry and have been phoning it in for like 15 years.
wait.
