but i love soul's like,
but i hate soul's lite.
i prefer a normal rpg, or jrpg at this one
Thumbs up.
I deffinietly wouldn't call this "game of ageneration" ...
How does it pushes the game industry ? What's new or innovative ?
God of War mixed with Souls/Blood like gameplay with guns ?
Yeah it's solid and fun, but nothing groundbreaking that would deserve that tittle ...
I'd NEVER dare to do such a thing about this...
I don't know why anyone praises god of war. it's like a game for little babies. Why would you have puzzles if you solve them for me? The game play is so basic.
I get that you can change the difficulty on the fighting but I mean the stuff in the world seems like it's all on infant difficulty.
I am talking about the game mechanics from GoT, mainly the helpful sidekick that can stun, enemies have limited charges, and do other stuff... like the "runic" special attack...
( one innovative thing I could say about Flintlock is the "vetricality" but first they would need to iron out movement and animations and add more options for aerial moves and attacks, for example specific enemy atacks that can be jumped over, or aerial parry/riposte... )
( I personally liked GoT4 verry much, though there is some stuff that I dislike or even hate about it, and I had my experience of it spoiled by watching let's plays - I never imagined that it would come to PC and I could actually play it - )
It's an example of a console kiddie level game that should have stayed on console. Sorry. It's a GREAT console game. Really delivers on the hand holdy console experience. But it's a garbage game by PC gaming standards.
It's a console game through and through.
The fighting is boring to the point it's assassins creed levels of dull. Every attack is broadcast from a mile away. You would have to be comatose to find the fighting challenging on anything but the hardest setting. And even then it's not hard because it's hard, it's hard because there is more of it. Enemies that can simply tank more hits as a way to increase difficulty is a total snooze.
No different weapons or tactics between difficulty levels. <yawn>
Really gives you all the best of having a console experience on your PC.
The lack of it make me removed 1 point on a scale of 10 points.
Ayo don't hurt me since I'm enjoying both consoles / PC brother!
Also it's my last bastion for physical games
Enjoy what you want. I just think you are probably better talking about Stardew Valley or some other purely PC gaming success story.
I hope this reference makes sense. Being excited about GoW on PC is kind of like putting ketchup on an expensive steak. It shows your taste in gaming has very limited depth.
Or maybe like a vegan person offering their advice about cheese.
I probably should not be so judgemental but getting excited about big budget console franchise games on the PC misses the point for me.
In a world where you can plug in a HOTAS and play X4: foundations being excited by PlayStation's latest movie you can play just baffles me.
I love stuff like Detroit Become Human. I just don't think they are good examples of PC gaming innovation.
