Go back to first map after killing first big boss?

So I just killed the first big boss in top of the castle, that sent me to a completely different map without warning after i spoke to Baz.

Is it possible to get back to that map? I didnt destroy all the banners

Yes, it's possible. Just visit your camp and watch for dialog option to travel back

Oh i was wondering if that was the end of the game lol.
Just got to this boss last night and had my ass kicked a bunch of times before i stopped for the night.

Yeah thought initial map was entire game. Spent many more hours on the second map.

I just unlocked the second map. I thought I was about to finish the game (I heard it was super short). I am thrilled there is another huge land to explore.

The people that say it's short aren't exporing the world. They are just doing the main story. When you watch their videos or streams they usually don't have any of the weapons you find while looking around the world.

12 hours on average to finish the game, 20-30 for 100%
Second map is close to the first map in terms of longevity and stuff to do.
