I'll start by saying that as far as the gameplay goes, this feels very generic. Generic is fine if that's your thing, however, there are also problems with screen tearing when V-sync is off, and hitching / micro-stuttering when v-sync is on (RTX 3080). The game also freezes on occasion, requiring an Alt-Tab or a Cntrl-Alt-Delete and End Process. Aside from that, the graphics, enemies and environments are generic as well.

I don't know why people have even referenced Bloodborne, but this is nothing like Bloodborne and it feels nothing like bloodborne. Even at 30fps on the original PS4, Bloodborne was fast, fluid, and visceral. Timing meant everything and getting that timing down was extremely rewarding because you had to learn the timing of every single enemy in that game. This is coming from someone who has got the Platinum trophy and who continues to play the game simply for fun by running through the different chalice dungeons just to recap various bosses.

If you'd like a game that is very similar, but much better in my opinion, then I can recommend 2 other titles that are also B-Gaming titles just like Flintlock with the only difference being that they weren't worked on by SBI or any of the DEI soy-milk drinkers.
Those other titles you should check out are Asterigos: Curse of the Stars and Thymesia. Both of those titles offer fairly tight controls, interesting environments, with somewhat cliche stories.

To a slightly lesser extent, if you're still not interested in those but would like a Dark Souls fix, then I could also recommend Ashen, Lies of P, and even Steel Rising. Each of which is unique in its own way, even though the gameplay is just as generic as the above mentioned games. However, the important thing to note is that none of the above are infected with "The Agenda".

Hope this helps those of you who are on the fence and those who perhaps did not know that this game came packaged with "The Agenda".

Do you have a g-sync monitor and v-sync only on in Nvidia Control Panel? If not, that's probably why you got screentearing. Check out the 20 minute gameplay video on IGN. This game has a lot of enemy variety. The ones in the demo are supposed to be more "generic" I think.
