Tales of Kenzera: ZAU isn't just a SBI game, it's creator started a company with the two people who started SBI: David Bedard and Kim Belair. Abubakar Ali Salim (creator of ToK:Z) is one of the founding directors of Bebe Sucre Ltd. (from French: "Sweet Baby") based out of Essex. So Salim is one of them. (Salim's own studio Surgent Studios even uses a BLM-looking theme, make of that what you will).
One of the people behind Unknown 9: Awakening is David Bedard (same one as before), so U9:A is a Sweet Baby game, not just a case of the dev hiring them.
SBI got into Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn by Audrea Topps Harjo personally inviting Kim Belair onto the project. While ATH was the then COO at A44 she used company resources to start her own DEI company: InclusionFX, allegedly without the company's permission to do so.
They're all inter-connected.
So many studios/developers are stupidly doing business with SBI and other DEI firms... and even some established games like Terraria are adding woke garbage (in the case of Terraria, they're removing male and female after 13 years of the game having the options for both; the next character creation interface will show 10 male character variations in different outfits, 5 without breasts, and 5 with breasts).
I know this reply isn't entirely on-topic with your thread, but I'm perma-banned from U9:A and ToK:Z for asking questions and showing the connections between the racists behind the games... so consider this in-part a reply to those threads also.
On-topic: Kim Belair of SBI tries to impart a bit of herself into character design in these games. So the appearance of some of the "BIPOC" characters across the SBI games bear some resemblance to her... hence why the character design for F:tSoD is ugly. You're beholding her narcissism, proving that they didn't remove SBI's influence on this game, contradicting their initial claims to Kabrutus.
EDIT: forgot to clarify, Terraria is not an SBI game as far as I am aware and I don't intend for my including it as an example in this comment to be construed as an implication of SBI involvement (but Re-Logic, company that owns Terraria is pushing little bits of woke into the game over time, even admitting that it's intended for "inclusion," which is a known DEI-buzzword).
But these people are huge narcissists. Common sense flies over their heads so they will keep trying even when it's been made clear their way isn't working. I mean did you see how the Koreans laughed at them and their beauty standards? It's embarrassing.
And this narcissism is why everything in games or movie sucks these days. These people have no life experience. They surround themselves with people who think exactly the same way as them anyone who has a different opinion, a different way of seeing things is not tolerated, is silenced and banished. We've seen this happen with that other company that does what SBI does. So how can they enrich a game's story, how can they make something more entertaining when they cannot see from any other perspective than their own? That's like trying to sell an action movie, a comedy and a horror film as separate movies but they all have the same subject, the same actors and the same lines. It does not work and that's what we have been getting for the last 5 years. The same DEI crap under different names.
I used to think that the movie industry would be the first to go through a purification process to expel these DEI types and regain a measure of health to survive, but it seems the gaming industry might be the first to do it.
I am thankful for people like Kabrutus and Grummz because they encouraged us to speak up about these microbes infecting an industry that used to cater to us as gamers.
Thanks, man. I didn't know that about ZAU "game", probably it was mentioned on SBID Discord, but I somehow missed it.
I won't get my hopes up just yet, man. Latest Bobby "The Clown Liar" Iger's "talk" with investors (which wasn't even in person, he sat down in front of a monitor and it showed only AI filtered questions for him to answer from selected investors, that ♥♥♥♥ was hilarious) clarified that he's on the right track to push even more woke. And, since Disney owns more than a half of Hollywood, that crap ain't going away. They (the establishment) can't afford to lose one of their most powerful propaganda engines.
I personally went back to older games these days ones made 10+ years ago before most of all this woke started..
I won't be bothering with that game going forward unless they remove the woke garbage officially.
I wouldn't call her good looking. That hair and face... just not my thing.
No question that western gaming studios have this "uglification" of women which is being done to be more inclusive and inoffensive to trans women.
Male game characters generally are portrayed as ripped chads for the hyper-aggressive intersectional feminists who call these studly characters "thirst traps".
I will agree this particular character isn't as bad as some others since I can name at least 3 others that are far uglier:
[1] Frey in Forspoken
[2] Whatever that thing is called in the upcoming Fable 4
[3] Kay Vess (Ma'am Solo) in Star Wars Outlaws
