UE4-Saltpeter game is corrupted.
Maybe next time you should use more money to develop the game and less in DEI.

I have the same issue in my 4070.
I think the problem might be with the game itself.
However, it's still a demo. I hope the actual game won't encounter this problem:)

Same rtx 4070 gaming x trio, they have 1 month till launch day.

Haven’t had game freezes, been having problem with stutters. Not a lot but pretty noticeable, game is super fun so hopefully this will be fixed before launch

I have a 4060 tried all sorts of settings and nothing. My game crashes as well, 16 gb ram running game off SSD Cpu not the best i5-13400F, The max spec for game is 2060 so I should be able to run it lol

What they need to do is add a shader load before the game launches up to help with the stuttering but I honestly dont think they have time to do that.

That kind of worries me. This game needs at least 2 more months in the oven. Do you think the 1 month will be enough?

I had 2 crashes in 5 minutes. Once immediately after the intro video. And once after finding the first journal entry on the ground after immediately reloading into the game. Both UE4 Fatal Errors.

I'd been following this for a while and would like to get to play it. But this is the demo! A demo is very small slice of the game. You should be able to get a demo running better than this. If not, the full game will surely suffer more.

Game was very stuttery for me and had 2 crashes. I did set the game to max settings with frame generation. Was showing 360+ fps. I have a 4090. Also default camera speed with mouse is super low, I had to turn sensitivity up to 75. DPI is set to 1600. I'm usually turning sensitivity down between 5-20 on most games.

I also had a UE4 fatal error crash. Was weird because it had been running fine with no stutters or frame drops and then right as I was entering the trenches it seized up and ctd. My computer isn't top of the line but it is pretty solid, this is the first time it's had any issues running a game and the fact it's only a demo concerns me, esp so close to launch.

I've been following this game for ages too, the number one thing holding me back was combat, I really want to know what that feels like before I buy so I hope the demo runs better next time I launch it.

Here on the 4060, I had some crashes too, but the game looks pretty cool.

No crashes here on a 4090. However this is typical UE4 crap. It is a bit of a bug ridden mess lol. Could be several things that are the cause of the crash, so a bit hard to say what the real reason is.
