Idle Superpowers

Idle Superpowers

I'm having the best run.
Dear diary,
my first 2 runs were trash, I died pretty fast and reset.
But this run, the first skill I got was Psychometry, so 5x xp..
Then I got Super Vitality, Rage Strength, and Size change..
So basically I'm a walking HP bar, and as soon as I lose any HP my damage goes into the millions, and it regens instantly.
It's only starting to get a bit tough now at stage 563, because some enemies seem to have like 200% evade or something?

I dunno if this is normal, I've been on this run for like 8 hours, and I kinda just want to die so I can do some more challenges \o.0/

how you doing chat?

Well, the first run stops quickly because of the story, second run was so-so, third run I got Super Agility and Super Strength and skyrocketed to 500+ levels too. Doing Mastery runs now up to 500 with different abilities to get more points to unlock rotating skills so not really focused on getting further yet. But in my best run it was level 809 or something. I really need a skill that removes enemy abilities for a good run after 500 as everyone starts getting random abilities and you get stuck on bosses for a while. But it doesn't always drop so some runs have to end early because there is no pont in spending too much time on simple mooks who just randomly got a bad ability.

Do you get the last mastery unlock at level 500? Or is the next one just too far away to be practical?

Do you mean Ability unlock? Mastery is how far you progress with a single ability active. I got the last ability at level 800.

Just run the game after the night off. I am at level 890 fighting against enemies that have 5 abilities and 6 legendary weapons. I have 13 abilities but no removal of enemy abilities or equipment so I get stuck on almost every enemy. I will try spending few minutes to update my equipment with free shop restock (240 seconds), maybe I will get to 900 and defeat the boss in a reasonable amount of time and maybe there is a good ability waiting for me there which will let to push to 1000 otherwise I am going to reset the run and try to do some challenge instead.

You need to reach level 100 with only one ability active to unlock Masteries. After that you should start with just 1 ability and not take another until you can't survive or progress anymore. This will accumulate their masteries and increase their effects (every 100 levels). Collecting Masteries on different abilities lets you purchase rotation abilities (there are 36 total rotation abilities and each day new one becomes available to purchase and rotates out in 4 days, so you can buy up to 4 abilities initially and then a new one each day, so I recommend getting those that are available now as soon as possible).

there are 36 rotation powers, but once you have them you unlock procedural powers, there's an entirely new power every day.
the amount of mastery required to unlock new rotation powers increases rather sharply, i wouldn't suggest blindly taking them all right away but to instead focus on getting the best ones.

Yeah, taking them blindly doesn't really help as you can't progress too far with useless powers this early. I am certainly taking those that let me get as far as possible first.

1st run went to 800, though used a lot of gems getting super str as power 1, and Radiation body as power 2, which makes the run a joke. Only careful part was getting enough regen gear. Got to 1010 on Frugal before realizing I forgot to actually unlock power mastery's, whoops lol.

Is there a list for the rotations powers anywhere to see which are worth grabbing when?

Hmm. I must have misread what you meant before. I thought you meant taking powers for a mastery run, but you are actually saying that I shouldn't take those rotation powers as soon as I can get them. I already took the first 10 and have enough points to take 8 more, so that is a half of all. I wouldn't want to wait a whole month for powers to rotate back so I still prefer taking them all.

Initially I did some mastery runs to 300, first road block when enemies get their powers. Now I can do a normal run to 3500, buy some items and do several runs to 1100 until all those items disappear on reset with 5% chance. So I am getting some more masteries before progressing further. I have enough for a week more and many more powers that can be masteried to 1100, so I feel safe that I won't need to skip some. And most likely I will progress further and be able to run them to 2000 or something.

Wait, what do you mean "used gems"? You used gems to rotate available powers so you can choose another? Seems like a waste of gems as you can just reset and do another run. I instead invested in auto-story (finally no stops while idling to click through story) and permanent stat multipliers.

Never seen it. I just take all of them. It may make a pool of available powers worse if you add some useless ones to it, but you gotta collect them all anyway.

Edit: spent few hours mastering powers and got most of those that I have to 1100-1500. So now I have 11 rotation powers and can get another 11 new powers from it. Managed to clear boss at level 3500 and got to 5000 before getting stuck again (I could have gotten further if I didn't set skills specifically for 3500). And I finally found universe reset (who knew you can scroll down on Blood screen...)! It will make mastering powers so much easier. So I don't think it is neccessary to skip buying all rotation powers as soon as you see them.

Using the gems that first run is worth since it gets you to 800 pretty easily, which leaves you more than enough gems for getting the auto-story, which is really the only main one which matters. Plus the billions of time power sets you up really well for the early game. Also it was I dunno maybe like 10-15 refreshes so not too much since you really don't have many unlocked at that point.
