Prologue. i cant upgrade any items

So is there a reason i cant upgrade anything. i cant explore without loading up on oxygen and then i have no room for anything

Build a habitat cube and then a T2 crafting station. That's where the first upgrades will be.

The game tells you what to build at the top of the screen. You should build those things in order until you get the hang of it.

also you can always build habitat cubes every so often so you have a place to refill your O2 without having to carry a ton of O2 canisters. I usually build one cube, a t2 crafting station, and a storage chest with in my O2 capabilities of each cube. (by the way I am also playing the Prologue)

You need a T1 crafting station or you will die of thirst. The advanced crafting station doesn't let you craft water or oxygen.

upgrades require the tier below it as a crafting component. maybe that's the issue? remove, for example, your Tier 1 backpack to upgrade it to a Tier 2 backpack.
