Rather tired of Male Protagonist games and games focused on 'Happy Endings'.
English is neither my language nor my culture, but what is the meaning of "Futa", ?
Because searching for it I had the answer: "Federal Unemployment Tax Act" and I really doubt you talk about the same thing ... :)
And now, the full word "futanari" makes sense when searching for it... and I do not see a difference with the word and people I knew, "shemale".
But to be honest, I am lost with all new words and classifications: lost in translation (nice movie by the way) with the sequence starting with LGB, then LGBT, then LGBT+, then LGBTQ, then LGBTQ2, then LGBTQIA, then LGBTQIA+, and I am sure there are more and newer.
I am ok with the introduction of this game concept.
Actually, I finished an AVN here on Steam, "Lust Academy", and the gender (not sure if it is the correct word) could be changed before various scenes for a couple of characters. It was nice. I really like games giving the choice, on-the-fly. For info, in this game, Audrey is much much better as shemale than female as it fits very well her style...
Thank you for the helpful answer (DGH)Phanyom69 !
he should ♥♥♥♥ everyone and dont let futa girls ♥♥♥♥ his girls or themselves and futa's ♥♥♥♥ should be merely a decoration and should never be used!!!! hahaha
well thats what i mean, yes. Main attraction for male protag
We don't know if the first historical use of futanari referred to these rare intersex individuals or to something else, but Japanese mythology refers to individuals with ambiguous and magically swapping genders all the way back into antiquity.
In modern terms it is used loosely, but futanari generally refers to a largely fictional gender that has both functioning male and female genitals and an overall feminine form. It is usually separate and distinct from transgender. But some authors will use it to refer to "shemale", because futa is largely a fictional gender people don't really police the use of the term.
Unfortunately the Western Devs for these VNs prefer Trans, "Ladyboy" or "Shemale" presenting characters either intentional or ignorance over the proper definition of Futanari, to me this is bad as they are confusing people and i believe in my opinion is like false advertising.
When i see "Futa" i want to see content similar to "Futabu"(Hentai) or "Catgirl Alliance"(VN), When i'm looking for "Futa", I'm not interested in seeing a Trans, "Ladyboy" or Shemale VN, its not my personal preference and should have it's own label or tag.
