Rare reroll crushes system resources
Specifically rares, but it does it as well with Uncommon's. Just not to the same degree. I have a pretty robust system(rig spec's in bio), but this one button, every 3 to 5 clicks send the rig into a stall. It sinks the FPS to 1 and the entire platform stutters into and out of the click. The screen redraws are getting stalled out. It slows down the display commands to the point it walks through the sequence.

If your rare reroll is low <0.1%, it will of course take a while, The game automatically rerolls until atleast ONE of the tiles has a rare, then it stops.

can be correlated, you know.

This is "expected" because of how the roll is done. Would be nice if it was parallel or something to not lock up the whole process while trying to hit a 0.0001% chance over and over

Seems to be EXACTLY what you're talking about.

I.e. You click the reroll button, but due to your rare % chance, it takes time to reroll.

In your pissed off state, you smash the reroll button several more times in quick succession. The PC slows down to process the requests.

Not exactly, and it is not from repeated input. I am old enough and wise enough to know the difference. You assume much, and know me little, Reuivn. I don't need help such as that. Good day!

When you click rare reroll, the game literally keeps rolling until it finds a rare. It does not guarantee a rare on the next roll. It rolls until it finds the rare. So if your chance to find rares is low, it will take a really long time and absolutely destroy your system while it does so because it was designed in the worst possible way.

'Designed in the worst possible way' seems problematic too me.

A better way to implement this would be to do a normal amount of rolls for one set of rewards, then if there were no rare rewards, pick one random reward to replace, then replace it with a random rare reward. That would be (normal_cost + 2) instead of (normal_cost * 1000).

I hope the dev finds this reply.

對的,當roll數達到理論值時就應該直接加入獎勵,節省電腦的資源

Sorry if I haven't bothered getting that answer translated, but while the suggested method is more efficient to find ONE rare reward, the current method also has low odds of getting 2 rares, or 1 rare 1 uncommon, etc.
