Speed 100% value

I just pass T-40 and i noticed that a speed 100% box appeared on the R panel, i have no idea what it does but changing it does nothing does anyone know that that is for?

It changes the speed of the spiral, It's purely visual, and it appears once your angular velo (ω) exceeds 50.

Also it saves you quite a bit of RAM. The further you go, the more your computer has to work to keep up with the calculations. This game can get surprisingly ressource heavy, especially for an Idle title, so at some point you will want to consider a slowdown.

or you can turn off the visualization completely since the newest patch - after turning off the visuals my tornado resets are basically instant
