How does Theory work?

Please help me I just did my 32th Tornado

The Pythagorean Theorem costs Inspiration to level up. Once you have inspiration to level it up with, that kickstarts the rest of the theories, as each theory has "study speed of next theory +1" upon being leveled up.

You get Inspiration from battle loot, which should now show up at the bottom of the battle screen. It will show as "Progress Multiplier: X%" and a purple bar will slowly fill up as you defeat enemies. Every time it fills up, you can get some loot. You can see the loot for that battle spiral by clicking the little up arrow on the center of that progress bar. The % goes higher as you reach higher difficulties for enemies you're defeating.

Note: If you don't close and reopen that loot menu when changing battle spirals, it will still show the loot for the battle spiral you opened it on. This is just a display error, and you will still get loot for the battle spiral you are defeating.

There's a bit more to it than that later on, but hopefully this gets you started!
