I actually am going for the challenges, my recent progress tells me that the square root challenge is achievable if exceedingly difficult.
Non-raid Debuff and spiral equation speed seem to be the most important after raw attack speed, so I'm focusing on them too.
Been grinding enough Alphabetician with 1e6 or 5e6 custom scav to see decent values on the ^3 rare variables that, it catapulted my Alphabetician Damage now to about 2Ud. At this point, Alphabetician has become my new VarMan.
Tornado prestiges though, even with the addition of Attack Speed to them at T100+, just don't seem... "impactful" enough; there's not much "need" to keep doing them unless you're just pushing to compare with others on the discord/elsewhere, just how high you can get that number to go.
Cuz really, a much bigger part of your progression is being able to have the window open and grind Battles - doing that offline isn't (usually) going to be as "good" because of how it still seems weird that offline battles use the basic rewards, not your actual rare drop chance/nodes.
At T144 I thought the same, but where I am now it's one of the more meaningful attack speed increases. The diminishing returns on the battle reward ones really slow you down, and I've come to realise balancing T-progression is just as important.
Side note, at T147 you should be able to clear the last exponentiation challenge.
Basically I have 2 questions for the high Tornado Prestige level players:
1) do you have DLC(s) (and how much does it give TP-wise)
2) how long are you playing the game?
To be honest, I think I am doing pretty well. I only recently had two moments of discovery that would have helped me earlier, and wonder if there are more things I am not aware off:
- spiral points can be used to boost designs
- the capacity for the Z-reactors and what it does
I am only at day 292 lol
I can comfortably farm alphabetician now, but I do it not so much. Doing alphabetician makes me miss out on a lot of spiral-points and inspiration, both of which have still measurable impact.
I guess the pace tornado prestiges will fall off now. Almost 2000hrs of gaming time.
I still have the question of how much more advancement I can expect from using DLC, which I am still not doing.
