you need to get Crit rate more than 100%, so that when attacking Super Pi the actual Crit rate after deduction is till larger than 0. Later on you have Non-raid Debuff that reduce the negative effects of Super Pi

this will do nothing it's not a -100% chance it's a x0.0 so without debuff resist you can never crit even with millions of chance

oh dear, maybe i got the debuff effect deduction before achieving more than 100% crit rate so i mistakenly perceived it

Oh and the "takes no damage from non-critical hits" is just a formality. Your regular damage is going to be so far below Super Pi's HP that it being multiplied by 0 doesn't actually change how long it takes to kill (no really, there's about a twenty order of magnitude difference). Even my regular crits are ten orders of magnitude lower than its hp.

given that crit rate is farmable it becomes the new default anyway :) using my base attack non crit i could kill it without a crit if it were able to be killed that way, but i'm also significantly farther than a normal player would be at the point they reach it, it's more there to make sure people use the theory system that was added along side it as that feature will hinder progression if not utilized, so it's more of a nudge in that direction without hand-holding
