Battle Spiral rewards for Spiral Equation

So just opened Spiral Equations and what I noticed was that I if I ran the equivalent Battle Spiral that had the specific equation it would reduce the time for the equation.

However the Equations aren't showing up when I re-roll at all. I did see every Battle level with that reward after rebooting after accessing that, but not since then. Do they ever show up again?

(If they are supposed to, why aren't they marked as Rare?)

this must be subjective.
in battlespiral you only unlock equations. after you beat a battle enemy onetime you unlocked it and it will never come back because you unlocked your equations.

this has no effect at all at the equation fight speed.
you should look at the timer. with each level you get the timer for reaching the next level increase. at some level you reach times far above 20000k seconds for one level. for level you just needed something about 5 seconds.

just click on the equation you doing right now and look on the right side on top. you see the timer until the next cycle is done.

It wouldn't. Not sure what you have seen, maybe you compared remaining timer to timer that just started. Names in battle spirals just unlock equations, so you only need to complete them once and after that you never see them again.

You can improve Spiral Equation speed using z-reactor.

Nope, I watched it cycle - time went up, stopped it. Completeted Battle Spiral. went back, time was down by a couple seconds on Hypathia.

It's just further confusing that when I turned this on - all four (I'm up to Beta - which I haven't completed) had the equations instead of just Beta when I had unlocked the first three equations already.

I didn't test too far - My Training Spiral was maxed out, Kappa is almost maxed out, but Hypathia is still in the rewards, so I can double check I guess.



For now will assume it was just a rounding error. Thanks for the feedback.

Maybe you progressed in z-reactor at the same time. One of the features in it increases your speed in spiral equation which actually lowers the total time instead of the speed.

Z Reactor is a new tab/tornado reward, right? Don't have it yet.

If it's the left hand box then I have to figure out what goes where.

Still assuming it was a rounding error. But my weekend is over now, so probably wont get to look into things again until Monday. Plan on sticking with the basics only during my work week.

Yes, it is Z button at the bottom of the top right menu. Unlocked at some tier of tornado prestiges.

Another source of Spiral Equation speed is Rainbow design which is unlocked by completing 5/5 Flower Challenge. But it gives 50% by default, so it would have been more noticable.

The first three tiers of Spiral Equations were unlocked from the very beginning even though Training, Kappa and Alpha still had one named reward at the end when they first appeared. Next 4 were unlocked only after you complete Beta, Pi, Gamma and Napier once. After completing them once I refreshed maybe thousands of times while farming last 6 battles again and again and those named rewards never appear anymore so I heavily believe that they are used only to unlock new equations and for nothing else.

Last 4 equations are unlocked by investing experience in upgrades and it is unclear how to unlock 8th equation (Brahmagupta). There are no more battles and no more upgrades to buy.

I tried to reproduce the issue you described. Turned off activation of some spiral, went to battle tab and completed few battles but nothing changed when I came back, timer was still where I stopped it. Maybe it was a one-time issue that you noticed. Or maybe it happened because you didn't "unlock" the first three equations yet and they were unlocked by default but without completion of the related battle, but after completion they reunlocked or something. Anyway, this was some weird behavior.

It is not possible atm, according to the discord server. However they will add a new enemy in the next patch to make it possible to be unlocked.

I see. Thanks for the info. Guess I will need to prepare for it after I finish my 5/5 straight line challenge run.
