The Crystals in each of the rooms will tell you if a room has any mental changes to do or not.... Like that would have saved me SOOO much time searching each one. I am sure it was mentioned in the tutorial BUTTTT.... my dumbass must have missed it.

Funnily enough I DID notice that after I found out it tells you mental changes are available.

Yes, you can activate the crystal and it will tell you if there are any available or not. Once you realize it, the color is a simple tip off. Other than a pop-up EVERY time you start in the mental sequence, this is the only other way so it's just the way it should be, I would say.
