What are they for? And why are they so expensive in CB?

Their new and their used to make the sunken chest which if opened has the potential to drop some new gear that can't be obtained any other way.

The murasame (katana) is one of the items that you can get from the sunken chest. I'm not sure what else it drops but this appears to be a really great weapon for katana users and of course is also quite expensive. It goes for around 34 mil or more i think and that's without slots or enhancements or crystas.
