Does this do the Ytube videos justice?

Before I buy this I was wondering since reviews tend to be conflicting with my own opinions. Is this a fun and creepy game that will make me jump or is it just lame instant kill garbage like so many games now? I liked amnesia dd but that wasn't cause of the instant kill monster. DD just had great story and atmosphere. Is this similar or is this just a wonky cash grab be honest please. I love the youtube videos and how they feel looking for a similar exp where you explore and see crazy monster but not just one of these instant kill games that cuts your game short and acts like its scary.

Well decided to buy it anyway but feel free to share your opinion on it. The videos on the store page looked pretty cool.

This is not an instakill game but it’s definitely in the alpha version. We’ve got a large update in QA now with some more story and survivor aspects. We hope to make this a dynamic game with significant replayability. Currently a lot of focus has been on optimizations and visual fidelity which I think speak for themselves.

Regardless, thanks for giving the game a chance and hopefully we’ll have some exciting news very soon.

Sure the videos look really cool. Monsters are also creepy but I’m really a bigger fan of the levels. Such great void atmosphere.
