Oracle's Mastery - No damage quest
Hey, I am in need of a clarification on how to complete the Oracle's Quest that ask us to finish a dungeon floor without taking damage and while only equipping Oracle / Clear Runes. I am sure I did this quest but it did not trigger. Are summons also counting against this quest?

Hey there, Lucas Demo here, tech artist of the game.

Summons do not count as direct damage. However, we are aware that there's a bug with this particular quest and we are working to fix it. The particular issue is that if you hit a prop/chest with a melee attack, the quest does not complete at the end of the floor.

This issue is already fixed and it will be life in the next patch. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Thanks for the report :)

But the "Oracle's Mastery" quest asks you to beat a dungeon floor without TAKING damage, not without doing direct damage.

The quest that asks you to complete a fight without doing direct damage is "Way of the oracle", which can be completed by erasing all enemies in a fight.

I have the same problem with "Oracle's Mastery" btw, completed Misty Groove without taking damage and it didn't count, maybe summons taking damage makes the quest fail.

Maybe a stupid question, but are you sure you equipped only oracle runes, and not just only oracle cards?

Yeah, using only 5 Oracle and 2 Clear runes.

In what dungeon did you completed the quest? Maybe it doesn't work in Misty Groove.

I did this quest earlier today, in Misty Grove. You just have to make sure you dont destroy any terrain

Just did Misty Grove again, took no damage, didn't break anything, only using Oracle and Clear runes, didn't get it.

I don't know what's happening anymore lol, I guess I will wait until it's fixed.

I was in the same boat as a few of you here and 100% beat a floor without taking damage at all and went back to town each time and the objective never finished. I just completed the objective and here is what I did:

1. Obviously take no damage
2. Did not use summons except the orb that explodes and causes Hex (don't know if the self-destruct counts as taking damage ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ but was trying to avoid summons taking damage)
3. Go to the next floor, don't go back to town.
4. 100% smashed props with melee attack and it didn't matter

The objective completed as soon as I loaded the next floor. I think we weren't getting credit because we were going back to town - not going to the next floor.

Hope this helps those of you that can't get it to complete like me.

I completed the quest in the Misty dungeon which ends with warping back to town as it has only one floor, so I'm skeptical of that theory. The not summoning anything may be a more likely factor, as I prefer to use melee attacks when possible followed by luring monsters into killing each other when melee attacks would get me hurt. It's quite possible that the only cards I used were hexes, direct destruction, and charm.

You're probably right, the difference between me completing the objective and not was going to the next floor and summons taking no damage. So if you have completed the objective by going back to town, then it has to be summons taking damage.

I was unable to complete the quest "Westward and Above" on the Dunes map without opening boxes or hitting props. 5 Oracle Runes, All Oracle Cards, didn't hit a single prop or open a chest, went back to town after first floor on Dunes.

I'll try going to the next floor.

Okay, for what it's worth, I completed this quest just now.

I made sure not to pick anything up at all, not even green statues, and went to the next floor. So it's either working as intended and I just messed up before or you need to do the additional steps. Not sure, either way it's definitely doable at the moment.
