Few criticisms
Loving the game so far, but I do feel it would benefit from autosaves, or more frequent mid dungeon saves if they want to continue with that system.
Tried to do some of the tower before I had to leave for work in a few hours and I got to the 5th or 6th floor without any way to leave dungeon or save my progress. Stupidly, when I had to turn off the game I quit to menu thinking maybe continue would put me back where I was. Of course it didn't and I lost out on 3 annoying quest completes aside from the tower progress.
I almost gave up right there but luckily I'm still early on in the game. I could see how dying on a high floor after not seeing an exit, and losing everything would make me want to quit though. There should be some forgiveness. Maybe even an option to pick one or two things to take back to town.

Another small graphical criticism is being able to see the area of effect on the cards themselves, instead of only when you use them in battle. Descriptions for stones in dungeons would be nice as well. Or even for some of the puzzles like the sword one. First time I did it was only using melee (sword) since I thought that was the test, second time I used cards but I don't know if it affected the outcome as the chest was still there.

Aside from that, the game is fun, but definitely challenging. Hoping new cards will help me in that regard.

Thanks for noting it down. I'm not gonna buy a game that doesn't respect my time.
Saving and returning to the game is vital, we're not children these days and if it's meant to be a save-scum prevention, let people do what they want, if they feel like ruining their experience, it's their choice.

Dunno, don't most roguelikes just kick you back to before the dungeon when you quit mid-run?
But would be nice to have a continue option, yeah

No, and it doesn't make it a reasonable solution. Steam Deck suspension helps greatly, but it is a workaround that should not be required. Unfortunately time for gaming may be tight and requiring long sessions will cut off part of the potential audience.

At least if there was SOME reward even after a loss. Like use the already existing bestiary and have it so after a certain amount of specific mob kills you can unlock a booster, or stat increase etc. That way i'd feel like at least I killed a bunch of guys before i died. Lol
